Company Description
Century Textiles and Industries Limited. The Company's principal activities are carried out through four segments: Cement, Textiles, Paper and Other. Cement segment manufactures and markets cement and clinker. Textiles segment products include yarn, cloth and denim cloth, viscose filament yarn and tyre yarn. Paper segment manufactures and markets writing and printing paper. Other segment includes rayon grade pulp, salt works, shipping, chemicals, floriculture and aviation. Cement accounted for 50% of fiscal 2006 revenues; Textiles, 29%; Paper, 18% and Other, 3%
