HeidelbergCement AG. The Group's principal activity is to manufacture building materials. The Group's activities are carried out through four business lines: Cement, Concrete, Building Materials and Group Services. Cement business line consists of all cement related items such as standard cements, masonry cements and specific binders. Concrete business line consists of the operating lines ready-mixed concrete, ready-mixed mortar, concrete products and aggregates. Building Materials business line consists of the operating lines building chemicals, limestone and lime products, dry mortar, special gypsums, expanded clay and sand-lime bricks. Group Services include all of the Group's trading activities. The Group has operations in Europe, North America, Africa, Asia and Turkey. During the year 2006, the Group acquired Dansk Leca A/S, HSK Kieswerk Forchheim GmbH & Co.KG & Cimport AV and sold Istra Cement International, Partek Beton Nederland B.V. Cement accounted for 68% of 2006 revenues; Concrete, 21%; Building Materials, 10% and Group Services, 1%
