The Group's principal activities are the manufacture and distribution of construction materials, such as aggregates, grey cement, white cement, ready-mix concrete, dry-mix mortars, fly-ash etc. The Group also has interests within the mines, road transportation and shipment sector. The Group has its plants in Greece, the U.S.A, Bulgaria, Serbia, F.Y.R of Macedonia and Egypt and operates cement distribution terminals in Egypt, Italy, France, the United Kingdom and the U.S.A. Cement accounted for 57% of 2006 revenues; ready mix, aggregates and blocks 41% and other 2%.
