The Group's principal activity is to design and manufacture components and assemblies for semiconductor equipment market, industrial telecommunications, electronics, automotive and other applications. The Group operates in three segments: Semiconductor Components segment manufactures precision-machined metal, technical ceramic, engineering plastic and high-purity fused quartz components. Semiconductor Assembly segment assembles and integrates components for use in the semiconductor component industry. The Advanced Material segment produces primarily ceramic products that are used outside the semiconductor industry. The Group also offers a range of services from initial prototype design to volume manufacturing, worldwide distribution and customer support.
