SIG PLC(SIG). The Group's principal activity is supplying building materials to construction and related markets. The Group's operation focuses its activities into four business sectors namely, Insulation, Commercial Interiors, Roofing, and Specialist Construction and Safety Products. Insulation business is used for three main purposes, as a thermal barrier to prevent heat loss or gain, as an acoustic barrier to prevent sound transmission and as a barrier against smoke and fire. Commercial Interiors supplies a range of systems and products, including ceiling, partitioning, doors, lighting and washroom products. Roofing industry consists of roofing products from conventional pitch roofs in housing to flat or low-pitch roofs on commercial and industrial buildings. Specialist Construction and Safety Products covers a portfolio which includes concrete accessories, waterproofing systems and chemicals, brickwork support systems, specialist fixings and safety products.
