Company Description
Chart Industries Incorporated. The Group's principal activity is to supply standard and custom-built equipment for use in cryogenic applications. The Group operates in three segments namely, Distribution and Storage, Biomedical and Energy and chemical. Distribution and Storage segment manufactures cryogenic bulk storage systems and cryogenic packaged gas systems. The segment also provides installation, service and maintenance of storage tanks, liquid cylinders, cryogenic trailers, pumps and vacuum-insulated pipe. The Biomedical segment products consist of LNG storage containers, cryogenic pumps and refueling systems for vehicles, telemetry products, respiratory products. Energy and chemical segment products include cryogenic heat exchangers and coldboxes, used by the major natural gas, petrochemical processing and industrial gas companies. Distribution and Storage accounted for 46% of 2002 revenues; energy and chemicals, 31% and biomedical, 23%.
