Company Description
Ferrostaal AG, a member of the German MAN group, consists of three divisions: 'facility construction and contracting', which carries out plant construction and infrastructural projects; 'industrial machinery and systems', manufacturing various industrial machinery and machine tools as well as developing technology systems for different industries and 'steel trading and logistics', storing and trading steel. The group operates worldwide. Included in Ferrostaal's operations are all related financial and technical services. Ferrostaal has worldwide subsidiaries. Facility construction and contracting accounted for 42% of fiscal 1999 revenues; steel trading and logistics, 37% and industrial machinery and systems, 21%.
