Palm Harbor Homes, Inc.. The Group's principal activity is to manufacture and market factory-built homes. The Group's activity also includes financing and insurance. It operates under two segments. Factory-Built Housing: This segment includes manufactured housing, modular housing and retail operations. Financial services: Includes finance and insurance operations. The Group manufactures single and multi-section homes under various brand names including Palm Harbor, Masterpiece, Keystone, CountryPlace, River Bend and Windsor Homes(TM). At 25-Mar-2005, it operated 18 manufacturing facilities in nine states that sell homes in 32 states through 116 of the Group-owned retail superstores and builder locations. It through its subsidiary, CountryPlace Mortgage, Ltd, offers installment financing to purchasers of manufactured homes sold by Company-owned retail superstores. Factory-Built Housing accounted for 95% of fiscal 2006 revenues and Financial Services, 5%
