Company Description
Mitsui Real Estate Sales Company Limited. The Group's principal activities are the operation of real estate business. Operations are carried out through the following divisions: Consignment Sales (sales of new condominiums and detached houses consigned by developers and other real estate owners); Brokerage (brokerage of housing for individuals, real estate brokerage and consulting for corporations); Real Estate Sales (development and sale of office buildings, houses and residential lots); Leasing (leasing and management of office buildings and condominiums); Parking Lot Management (parking lots operations); Other (insurance agency, overseas real estate investment). Brokerage accounted for 30% of fiscal 2002 revenues; leasing, 24%; consignment sales, 19%; parking lots, 19%; real estate sales, nominal and other, 8%. The parent company of the Group became wholly owned subsidiary of its parent company Mitsui Fudosan Co Ltd and delisted from the Tokyo Stock Exchange in September 2002.
