Vodni Stavby (formerly known as Vodni Stavby Praha) a.s. was founded in 1992 and is involved in building and constructing activities. The company builds and constructs waterways, reservoirs, water works, towers, power plants, cleaning stations, piers, pipelines (oil, gas and heat), railways, bridges, waste dumps, incinerators, desulphurization plants, dust filters, industrial halls, logistic parks, houses, flats, hotels, schools, swimming pools, shopping centres, aquaparks and administrative buildings. Vodni Stavby has six divisions and seven subsidiaries. Construction accounted for 77% of 1999 revenues; services, 15%; sale of goods, 7%; industrial and other activities, 1%.
