The Group collects rents and royalties from leased properties. It has mineral interests in the parishes of Allen, Beauregard, Calcasieu, Cameron, Jefferson Davis, LaFourche, Sabine, St. Landry and Vermilion in Louisiana. The Group's operations are carried out through three segments: Oil and gas properties, Agriculture properties and timber properties. The customers of the Group are Cox and Perkins, Riceland Petroleum Company, Neumin Production and Woodlawn. Oil and gas properties accounted for 77% of 2002 revenues, Timber properties, 11%; Agricultural properties, 10% and Other, 2%.
