Maui Land & Pineapple Company, Inc.. The Group's principal activities carried out through four segments: Agriculture, Resort, Community Development and Commercial and Property. The Agriculture segment includes growing, packing and processing and marketing of canned and fresh pineapple. The fruit grown by the Group principally consists of three types of pineapple, Champaka, Hawaiian GoldTM and organic pineapple. The Resort segment includes the development and sale of resort real estate, property management and the operation of recreational and retail facilities and utility companies at Kapalua, Maui. The Development segment includes the Group's real estate entitlement, development, construction and sales activities. The Commercial and Property segment includes the Group's investment in Kaahumanu Center Associates, the Napili Plaza shopping center, and non-resort real estate development, rentals and sales.
