InterGroup Corporation (The). The Group principal activities is to own and manage real estate properties. The Group purchases, develops, operates, rehabilitates and disposes real estate properties and operates in other business and investment activities. The properties of the Group include nineteen apartment complexes, an equity interest in a hotel, two commercial real estate properties and two single-family houses as strategic investments. The Group's residential rental properties with exception of the Austin, Texas and Irving, Texas properties, are managed by professional third party property management companies. The Group also has investments in unimproved real property and also invests in income-producing instruments, equity and debt securities.
