The Group has elected to qualify as a real estate investment trust under Sections 856-860 of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986. The Company provides its management, leasing and real estate development services through two companies: PREIT Service LLC and PREIT-RUBIN Inc. PREIT Service LLC generally develops and manages properties that the Company consolidates for financial reporting purposes and PREIT-RUBIN Inc vice versa.
