Universal Health Realty Income Trust. The Group's principal activity is that of an Investment Trust. It primarily invests in income producing healthcare and human related facilities, including acute care, hospital, behavioral healthcare, rehabilitation hospitals, sub-acute facilities, surgery centers, childcare centers and medical office buildings. At 31-Dec-2005, it has real estate investments in 43 facilities located in fifteen states nation wide. The investments include ownership of acute care, comprehensive rehabilitation and behavioral healthcare. The UHS of Delaware, Inc. (the Advisor), a Group's wholly owned subsidiary serves as Advisor to the Group under an Advisory Agreement, the Advisor is obligated to present an investment program to Universal, to use its best efforts to obtain investments suitable for such program, to provide administrative services to Universal and to conduct its day-to-day affairs.
