The Group owns a portfolio of upscale, full-service hotels and resorts. The hotels are located in major metropolitan areas or rapidly growing secondary markets in the United States and Canada. The Group's hotels are operated under brand names such as Hilton(r) , Sheraton(r), Westin(r), Marriott(r), Radisson(r), Doubletree(r), The Ritz-Carlton(r), Holiday Inn(r) and Embassy Suites(r). The Group closed three properties due to hurricane damage and one hotel was disposed during 2005. As on 22-Mar-2006, the Group owned 47 hotels in major markets and resort locations with 14,404 rooms in 19 states.
