Company Description
MSA Realty Corp is a real estate investment trust and invests as a general partner in shopping centers and other income producing properties in the United States by participating in joint ventures with Simon Property Group, L.P., or affiliates of Melvin Simon & Associates, Inc. Effective December 20 1993, the Company consented to the transfer of MSA's interest in all of the community shopping centers to the Simon Property Group. The company's primary objective has been to make joint venture investments in existing shopping centers and enclosed malls that have the potential for enhanced cash flow as a result of expansion or improved management. MSA Realty has not made any new joint venture investments since 1990.
