Company Description
Bentall Corporation is one of the largest providers of real estate services in Western Canada. It is involved in the acquisition, development, leasing, financing and management of revenue-producing downtown and suburban office properties. In September, the group acquired OMERS Realty Corporation. The company's office property portfolio comprises of more than 5 million square feet of downtown and suburban office space in Vancouver, Seattle and Southern California. Bentall also participates in other sectors of the real estate industry, including land and residential development. Rental income accounted for 70% of 1999 revenues; real estate services, 16% and residential real estate activities, 14%.
