AMLI Residential Properties Trust. The Group's principal activities are to acquire, develop and manage upscale institutional quality multifamily apartment communities in nine major metropolitan markets in the Southeast, Southwest, Midwest and Mountain regions of the United States. The Group qualifies as a self-administered and self-managed Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) as defined by Section 266 of the Companies Act 1985. At 02-Dec-2005, the Group had 75 apartment communities containing 28,274 apartment homes, with an additional 827 apartment homes under development or in lease-up in three locations.
