Glimcher Realty Trust. The Group's principal activity is to own, lease, acquire, develop and operate a portfolio of retail properties. The retail properties portfolio consists of regional and super regional malls, community shopping centers and single tenant retail properties. As of 31-Dec-2006, the Group owned interests and managed 30 properties, consisting of 26 malls and 4 community centers located in 16 states. Regional malls provide wide range of shopping alternatives depending on the needs of the customers in all market segments. Community centers are designed to attract local and regional area customers and are typically anchored by a combination of supermarkets, discount department stores or drug stores.
