Prime Retail, Inc.. The Group's principal activities are to own, develop, construct, lease, market and manage outlet centers throughout the United States. The Group has elected to be taxed as a REIT under Sections 856 through 860 of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended. As of 31-Dec-2002, the Group's outlet center portfolio consisted of 38 properties in 24 states totaling 10,269,000 square feet. Develops, acquires, owns and operates forty five outlet centers in twenty six states
