Serco Group plc. The Group's principal activity is providing facilities management, systems engineering and equity investment management. The Group's operations are carried out through its Civil Government, Defence, Transport and Science divisions. Civil Government business focuses prison management and court escort services to operating electronic monitoring services, developing intelligence systems. This division also provides education services, support services to hospitals, IT services and business process outsourcing. Defence division covers military communications' systems to managing training colleges. Transport business operates the Docklands Light Railway and light rail systems in Manchester and Copenhagen. This division also provides traffic management and air traffic control services. Science division provides safety advice relating to nuclear submarines and delivering technical support to particle physics laboratory. Civil Government accounted for 34% of 2006 revenues; Defence, 25%; Transport, 25%; and Science, 16%
