Mid-America Realty Investments, Inc. is a self administered realty investment trust which owns, operates and manages enclosed malls and other neighborhood shopping centres and other income producing real estate. As on December 1997, the company owned 18 shopping centres and 4 enclosed malls. These malls and shopping centres are located in Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois, South Dakota, Michigan, Georgia, Tennessee, Wisconsin, Indiana, Minnesota and Arkansas. Mid-America Centers Corp. is the company's wholly owned subsidiary through which the company manages its properties. Wal-Mart, Herberger's, Hy-Vee Grocery stroes, Kmart, J.C. Penney, Walgreens are some of the tenants of the company.
