Pay annual dues to join an association of property management professionals Property management organizations charge varying dues depending on your membership level. Most groups are open to building owners, asset managers, property managers, corporate facility managers, leasing professionals and other commercial real estate professionals.

I recommend:  The Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) is a professional property management organization that serves as a source of resources, education, information and membership for property management professionals. IREM is an affiliate of the National Association of Realtors. Register for membership, choosing between several membership options, including associate, Certified Property Manager and Accredited Commercial Manager. The Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) international membership consists of managers, building owners, developers, medical office building managers, leasing professionals and corporate facility managers.
