Barprop Limited (formerly Erf 203 Rivonia Limited) is a property holding company with investments in prime industrial, commercial and convenience retail properties located in the main metropolitan areas of South Africa. It also acquires and develops investment properties in centralised areas, manages existing developed properties and leases accommodation to financially sound clients. Prior to 1st April 1998, Barprop Ltd was a member of the RMP Properties Group. On 1st April 1998, the company's capital was restructured into linked units, which are trading on the property loan stock sector on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange. Rental income accounted for 70% of fiscal 1998 revenue; interest and dividend income accounted for 30% and other income accountedfor a nominal percentage.
