Countrywide Assured Group PLC. The Group's principal activities are carried out through five divisions namely estate agency, financial services, surveying & valuation, conveyancing, and life assurance. Estate Agency provides property and management services to commercial and residential clients. Financial Services assists both buyers and sellers in their requirement for mortgage finance and insurance, including all types of personal protection and home and contents cover. Surveying & Valuation carries out mortgage valuations and surveys on behalf of lenders, as well as clients introduced via estate agency network. Conveyancing provides legal services for home buyers and sellers. Life Assurance arranges life policies for clients and places mortgages on behalf of lenders and assists clients in meeting their requirements for household, contents and income protection insurance. Estate agency accounted for 56% of 2003 revenues; surveying & valuation, 24%; financial services, 16%; and conveyancing, 4%
