Swatch Group of Switzerland (The). The Group's principal activities are to manufacture, market and distribute a wide range of watches and microelectronics worldwide. The Group's operations are carried out through four divisions. The Watches division markets a wide range of watches under the brand names Blancpain, Breguet, Leon Hatot, Omega, Rado, Longines, Tissot, cK Watch, Certina, Mido, Hamilton, Pierre Balmain, Swatch, Flik Flak, Lanco and Endura. The Watch Production division manufactures watches, movements and components. The Electronic Systems division manufactures and markets electronic components. The General Services division includes research and development activities, services and finance activities. The Group's activities are carried out in Europe, North America, Central America and the Caribbean, South America, Far East, Middle East, Oceania and Africa. The Group acquired WIGE Data GmbH and Leipzig in 2006. Watches accounted for 65% of 2005 revenues; Watch production, 24%; Electronic systems, 11% and General services, nominal
