Big Sky Transportation Co.. The Company's principal activity is to operate regional air carrier, providing scheduled passenger, freight, express package and charter services. The Company has ten Fairchild Metro III aircraft and six Fairchild Metro 23(-12) turboprop aircraft. The flights are conducted between cities and towns, connecting fifteen cities in Montana, Idaho, Washington, North Dakota and to eleven cities in the south central United States via its Dallas and Texas hub. The present route system is designed around two regional air service hubs in Billings and Dallas via service to Denver. Public services accounted for 53% of fiscal 2002 revenues; Passenger service, 45%; Cargo, 1% and Other, 1%.
