Intrawest Corporation. The Group's principal activity is to develop and operate mountain resorts, village-centered resorts, warm-weather destination resorts and resort club locations which are marketed as timeshare vacation ownership resorts. It provides resort real estate development, retail and equipment rentals, food and beverage, lodging and property management, ski schools, golf courses, athletic centers and sports clubs. There are approximately 730 ski resorts in North America of which 490 are located in the United States and 240 are located in Canada. Real estate accounted for 50% of fiscal 2002 revenues; mountain resort, 43%; warm-weather resort, 6% and other, 1%.
