Lagardere S.C.A.. The Group's principal activities are diversified into two main sectors: Media and High technology. Lagardere media operates in four distinct areas which are books, press, distribution and audiovisual. High technology activities include civil helicopters, airplanes like Airbus, military planes and commercial satellites. The Group publishes books through Hachette Livre which are published in three key languages: French, Spanish and English. Hachette Filipacchi Medias publishes magazines worldwide. Hachette Distribution Services operates through international chain of retail outlets. Lagardere Active deals with radio, television and runs radio stations like Europe 1 and television channels like Canal J. The Group has a global presence.
