Kohl's Corporation. The Group's principal activity is the operation of department stores. It sells moderately priced apparel, shoes, accessories and home products targeted to middle-income customers through its stores. The national brand merchandise also includes soft home products, such as towels, sheets and pillows and housewares to suit regional preferences. The distribution is made to the stores from its centers in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, Findlay, Ohio, Winchester, Virginia, Blue Springs, Missouri, Mamakating, New York and San Bernardino, California. The Group also operates a fulfillment center in Monroe that services its e-commerce business. As of 03-Feb-2007 the Group operates 817 stores in 45 states, In March 2007, it opened seven additional stores and currently operates 824 stores across the United States.
