Sanyo Electric Co Limited. The Group's principal activity is to manufacture electronic products. The operations are carried out through the following divisions: Consumer, Commercial, Components and Other. Consumer division deals with television, DVD player, air conditioners, washing machines, digital cameras, cellular phones and LCD projectors. Commercial division deals with showcases and commercial air conditioners. Components division deals with semiconductors, liquid crystal panels, electronic parts and batteries. Other division deals with distribution, maintenance and housing. Consumer accounted for 46% of fiscal 2006 revenues; components, 37%; commercial, 9% and other, 8%
