Select Comfort Corporation. The Group's principal activities are to develop, manufacture and market adjustable-firmness beds and other sleep related accessory products. It offers five different Sleep Number bed models that represent a sleeper's ideal level of comfort, firmness and support. As of 31-Dec-2006, the Group operates 442 company-owned stores in the U. S. The other channels of distribution include direct marketing and e-commerce and third-party distribution through QVC shopping channel and through relationships with selected home furnishings retailers and specialty bedding retailers in the U.S. and Canada. In addition, the Group has entered into a strategic arrangement to supply Sleep Number beds to Radisson Hotels and Resorts (R) in the U.S., Canada and the Caribbean.
