Russ Berrie & Company, Inc.. The Group's principal activities are to design, manufacture and market a variety of gift products to retail stores. It operates in two segments which are Gift business and Infant and juvenile business. The Gift business designs, manufactures through third parties and markets gift products to retail stores in the United States and throughout the world. The Infant and juvenile businesses design and market products of baby categories including infant bedding and accessories, bath toys and accessories, developmental toys, feeding items and baby comforting products. The Non-core business includes educational products, placemats, candles and home fragrance products. The Group products are sold under the RUSS, RUSS Baby, Sassy, APPLAUSE, and Kids Line brand names and under trademarks of licensed products.
