Company Description
Rowe Companies (The). The Group's principal activities are manufacturing and retail distribution of home furnishings. The wholesale home furnishing division designs and manufactures upholstered and leather furniture. Upholstered and leather furniture includes sofas, loveseats and chairs, covered with fabric and leather. The retail home furnishing segment sells the upholstered and leather furniture, case goods, dining sets, rugs and other home furnishing accessories. The stores are located primarily throughout the Southeast, Southwest, Mid-Atlantic, northeastern, southeastern and southwestern United States. Wholesale Home Furnishing accounted for 53% of 2005 gross revenues and Retail Home Furnishings, 47%
