Home Depot Inc. The Group's principal activity is to sell assortment of building materials, home improvement and lawn and garden products. The Group operates in two segments: Retail and Home Depot Supply. The HD Supply segment distributes products and sells installation services to business-to-business customers, including home builders, professional contractors, municipalities and maintenance professionals. As on 28-Jan-2007, the operations are carried out through 2,147 retail stores, 34 EXPO Design Center stores, 11 Home Depot landscape supply stores and 2 Home Depot floor stores. It operates in the United States, Canada, Mexico and China. During 2006, it acquired Home Decorators Collection, The Home Way, Jubilee Home Solutions, Burrus Contractors Supply, Heartland Waterworks Supply, Cox Lumber Company, Hughes Supply, CTF Supply, Rice Planter Carpets, Edson Electric Supply, Sioux Pipe, Forest Products Supply, Texas Contractors Supply, Grafton Utility Supply and Western Fasteners. Retail accounted for 87% of 2006 revenues and Home Depot Supply, 13%
