Mail-Well Incorporated. The Group's principal activities are printing and manufacturing envelopes. The Group operates in three segments: Commercial printing, Envelope and Printed Office Products. Commercial printing serves two markets: high impact color printing for national and regional accounts; and general commercial printing for local commercial customers. Envelope segment markets customized envelopes, packaging products and other products. Printed Office Product segment manufactures stock label, mailers and printed business documents. U.S. Postal Service, wholesalers, paper merchants and printers use these products. The Group sold Curtis 1000 Inc. printed office products subsidiary, prime label segment, filing products division, file folder division of envelope segment in 2002. The Group acquired in-house printing and fulfillment operations of American Express Company in 2002. Commercial printing accounted for 44% of 2002 revenues; envelope, 44% and printed office products, 12%.
