Coastcast Corporation. The Company's principal activity is to manufacture Golf products. It operates under two segments: Golf and Non-golf products. Golf products includes investment-cast titanium and stainless steel golf clubheads for various metal woods, irons and putters. A major customer of the stainless steel and titanium clubheads is Callaway Golf Company, producer of the Big Bertha line of woods and irons and Odyssey putters. It also manufactures investment-cast orthopedic implants and surgical tools, used in replacement joints, such as hips, knees, heart and spinal implants. Other non-golf products include titanium and other alloy specialty and automotive titanium products. The Company owns a complex of plants at Gardena in California and Tijuana and Mexicali in Mexico. Golf Products accounted for 85% of 2002 revenues and Non-golf Products, 15%.
