Associated Communications Corp has interest in 6 domestic cellular telephone systems that have licenses from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to provide cellular telephone service in areas, San Francisco, San Jose, Pittsburgh, Buffalo, Rochester, Albany and Glens Falls. It also operates Radio broadcasting WSTV & WRKY stations located in Steubenville and Bellaire Ohio. Associated American Artists Inc. a wholly owned subsidiary deals in art gallery works. The company formed a joint venture with McCaw Cellular Communications Inc. in 1993. Cellular communications accounted for 94% of 1993 revenues; art gallery sales, 3% & Radio Broadcasting, 3%.
