D & E Communications, Inc.. The Group's principal activity is to provide integrated communication services to the residential and business customers throughout the eastern half of Pennsylvania. The Group's segments are: RLEC, CLEC, Internet Services and Systems Integration. The Rural local Exchange Carrier offers local telephone, network access, long distance, data and enhanced telephone services. The Competitive local Exchange Carrier offers competitive local telephone, long distance and other telephone services. Internet services include dial-up and high speed Internet access and web hosting services. Systems integration offer services to support the design, implementation and maintenance of local and wide area networks and telecommunications systems. RLEC accounted for 59% of 2006 gross revenues; CLEC, 25%; System Integration, 4%; Internet Svcs, 10% & Other, 2%
