Company Description
Cogeco Inc. The Group's principal activities are to provide cable distribution and broadcasting services. The Group operates in two sectors: Cable and Media sector. Through its subsidiary Cogeco Cable, the Group provides pay-per-view services and audio programming, as well as digital cable services such as video on demand and cable-modem broadband Internet access. The Group also offers high-speed data communications for business and institutional customers. The Group operates six television stations and three affiliated television stations that broadcast on Quebec's major markets through the subsidiary Cogeco Radio-Television Inc. The Group acquired TQS Inc in February 2002. Cable accounted for 84% of fiscal 2002 revenues and Media, 16%.
