American Telecasting, Inc. owns and operates a network of wireless cable television systems providing subscription television service to residential and commercial customers in the United States. The company serves around 107,000 subscribers through 32 operational systems throughout the United States. In addition, it has significant wireless cable microwave frequency interest in 21 other U.S. markets. The remaining 35% interest in Fresno Telsat, Inc. was acquired in 1998. Hardwire cable system in Lakeland was sold to Time Warner Entertainment - Advance Newhouse Partnership. Wireless cable accounted for 98% of 1998 revenues and installation, 2%.
