Andrew Corporation. The Group's principal activities are to design, manufacture and distribute communication products and systems to wireless subsystem markets. It operates in five Segments: Antennas and Cable Segment products include coaxial cables, connectors, cable assemblies and accessories and base station antennas and terrestrial microwave antennas. Base Station Subsystems Segment offers integral components of wireless base stations, power amplifiers, filters, duplexers and combiners. Wireless Innovations Segment offers products used to extend the coverage of wireless networks in areas where signals are difficult to send or receive. Network Solutions Segment includes software and equipment to locate wireless E-911 callers and equipment and services for testing. Satellite Communications Segment products include earth station antennas, high frequency and radar antennas. In fiscal 2006, it acquired Skyware Radio Systems GmbH, Precision Antennas Ltd and CellSite Industries.
