REMEC, Inc.. The Group's principal activities are carried out through two groups: the Commercial group and the Defense and Space group. The Commercial group develops and manufactures high frequency subsystems used in the transmission of voice, video and data traffic over fixed access and mobile wireless communication networks. The Defense and Space group provides a broad spectrum of RF, microwave and guidance products for systems integrated by prime contractors in military and space applications. On 20-Dec-2002, it acquired Spectrian Corp and on 01-Jun-2003, Himark. Commercial accounted for 68% of 2002 revenues and Defense and space, 32%.
