Pinnacle Holdings Inc. The Group's principal activity is to provide wireless communications site space in the United States. The Group focuses on renting space to providers of wireless communications services, such as enhanced specialized mobile radio ("ESMR"), personal communications services ("PCS"), cellular, paging, specialized mobile radio ("SMR"), wireless data transmission and radio and television broadcasting. At 31-Dec-2001, the Group had 4,472 communications sites, including 2,619 owned sites, 788 "managed" sites and 1,065 "leased" sites. The Group is qualified as REIT under Sections 856-860 of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986.
