In the United States the Group offers wireless services under the brand name Cricket. Cricket strategy is designed to extend the benefits of mobility to the mass market by offering wireless service that is as simple to understand and is a mobile alternative to traditional landline service. During 2002, the Group had launched wireless service in 40 markets.
