Company Description
MTN Group Limited. The Group's principal activity is providing communication services such as cellular network access and business solutions. The Group operates a GSM network with approximately 4,738 base station sites covering 19,200 km of road and 900,000 km of land, and provides access to South Africa's population. The Group provides services relating to data management and solutions, mobile banking, telemetry, corporate solutions and blackberry solutions. The Group also offers a range of tariff plans that cater to any business communication need consisting of ProCall, MyChoice, and Data and SMS. The Group also provides a program called Strictly Business which takes care of a clients commerce, from payment solutions, to business tariff plans, a variety of messaging services to mobile office solutions and many more added solutions. The Group operates in South Africa, Cote d'Ivore, Congo, Zambia, Mauritius, Botswana and Nigeria.
