WIRELESS MATRIX CORP. The Group's principal activities are to develop and provide wireless data solutions for business operations involving mobile workforces and remote machine assets. The Group operates through three segments: Remote telecom, Telemetry and Mobile. Remote telecom segment provides services which enable voice, fax and data communications to corporate personnel working in remote locations such as oil and gas drilling crews. Telemetry segment provides remote asset monitoring and control services to connect corporate customer to devices, which may be located at gas wells, water pump sites, fluid storage tanks and utility meters. The Mobile segment provides packet based satellite and terrestrial wireless data connectivity between mobile field fleets and corporate offices. Mobile communication services accounted for 80% of fiscal 2002 revenues; Remote telecommunications, 10% and Remote asset monitoring and control services, 10%.
