Company Description
Mercury Air Group, Inc.. The Group's principal activity is to provide a broad range of services to the aviation industry. The Group's operating units include fuel sales and services, cargo operations, fixed base operations (FBO), government contract services. Fuel sales include related fuel management services and contract fueling. Cargo operations are conducted through the Group's wholly owned subsidiary, Mercury Air Cargo, Inc. The Group provides cargo handling, space logistics and general cargo sales agent services. Government contract services are provided through its wholly owned subsidiary Maytag Aircraft Corporation. It provides aircraft refueling, air terminal, base housing maintenance, base operating support and weather data services. During fiscal 2001 the Group discontinued RPA airline automation services (RPA). Fuel sales accounted for 61% of fiscal 2002 revenues; Fixed Base Operations, 25%; Government Contract Services, 7% and Cargo Operations, 7%.
