Bombardier Inc. The Group's principal activities are to design, manufacture and distribute transportation equipment and other related products and services. The Group operates in four business segments: Aerospace, Transportation, Recreational products and Bombardier capital. The Aerospace segment designs, manufactures and sells business and regional aircraft for individuals, corporations as well as commercial airline customers. The Transportation segment manufactures and sells passenger rail cars and completes rail transportation systems. The Recreational products segment develops, manufactures and markets snowmobiles, watercraft, boats, all-terrain vehicles and engines. The Bombardier Capital segment provides financial and real estate services. The Group operates in Canada, the United States, Europe and Asia. Aerospace accounted for 48% of 2003 revenues; Transportation, 40%; Recreational products, 10% and Finance and Real Estate, 2%.
